The Department of Oblak Guardians is the name of Oblak City's police force.
It is composed of a group of highly trained men and women, who work day and night to keep the city as safe as possible. Workers are roughly divided into officers, detectives and laboratory workers, each having a ranking system from one to three. Rank three is the lowest and usually given to new team members and simple patrolmen, small detectives, archive keepers, office-workers and assistants. Rank two is higher and is given to the skilled hard-working individuals, who rise to become investigators and solve harder, more important crime cases. Rank one is the highest and is given to lead detectives, chief officers and science experts.
Despite all of them being skilled in their separate fields, none of them are trained to confront the supernatural and the majority does not even believe in it. Most of them are realists, who strive to do their job correctly and to keep the public from panicking. A special investigation division has been formed with the sole purpose of closing the "Notebook" case.
