Two as the symbol of duality
The third movement
The sun had dawned and peaked and dusked. Now the night has waltzed in and masked the world with a canvas of twinkling stars. A peaceful time that heals worries and scars. The graceful moon shined down the path leading to two pillars, between which she sat, a beautiful priestess as fine as the night, illuminated she was by mysterious light. Silent she was as the Fool came near. Humble he was before the great seer. All of his tools he laid out on the ground and spoke, seeking an answer profound. "The Magician showed me these, but I can not decide. Which wind from all four am I to follow and ride? Or am I to use the four altogether? Or would choosing none be far better?" The priestess speaks not, not a sound of the faintest. Instead she hands over a scroll from the ancients. Halting his decision for an hour or more, the Foll sat down under the light the moon bore. "I knew of this not. It gives me great insight. But to make a decision, I have not the might." Such were his words once he was done. This beckoned the answers that from within come. His mind on its own matched all the pieces. The Fool rose and thanked the priestess. Curiosity sparked as farewell he bid. What had behind the fruit veil hid? The Fool set out before dawn broke shortly. Just as he left, an inner voice whisper softly. "Our paths shall cross and we'll meet once again to travel the secret path before the moon's wane." |
